Puri is well known city especially popular as pilgrimage city of famous temple of Lord Jagannath Puri. It headquarters of Puri district situated in Odisha, India. According to Indian Mythology, the place is said to be last resting point of Lord Vishnu which made the significance of place and thus, it became Jagannath puri temple. Large density of devotees all over the country and from abroad visit the grand temple and one of the largest art depository &  architectural richness of the place. Not only have the temples, art and artitecture, the city attracted larger tourist traffic for natural beauty. In fact, the wide versatility in accommodation encourages tourist to stay and explore the pilgrimage city more intensively. How to reach Puri :  If you are looking  to reach their by flight, there is no own airport of puri but you can fly to the nearest airport which is Bhubaneswar Airport which is connected by national and international flights. Puri Railway station has rail-routes to major cities in country like new Delhi, Calcutta, Ahmadabad etc. There are also bus services and road route by which you can reach to the city.
