My trip to New York  What I Liked The Most

Before I set foot on the Big apple, I had heard and read a lot about the city and was even overawed by certain aspects as well. But when I landed at the JFK and used the New York car service to reach my hotel, I had mixed feelings about the city overall. There are a few things that stand out and cannot be ignored about this great city. If you are coming from much smaller towns whether from within the US or from elsewhere, the very sight of those tall structures overawes you. You realize why universally they call it the Manhattan when similar skylines are noticed. It all must have started here and the innovation and enterprise of the Americans immediately appeal to your senses.

Good with the Transportation

New York is one of the largest cities in the world and people do commute from one end to the other for work, for business or just for sheer pleasure, like I did. I did use the tube or the underground train service also, but the New York ground transportation was something I found impressive. The yellow cabs on which the New York public desperately rely and the privately run new York car service ensure you are never left stranded on the streets of this great city looking for a transport to reach from place A to place B.

You can find your own way to hire these vehicles and rest assured, they reach you to your destinations smoothly and they don’t really cost you a bomb, though the general perception is that NYC is an expensive city for practically everything.

The Places to Visit

I couldn’t miss spending some time at the Times Square and the time spent there included a visit to Madame Tussauds and the Ripley’s Believe it or Not. It was an aimless loitering around and full of fun. We did pick up the odd eats you can buy from the vendors. But it was one great experience and something I am not going to forget for a long time to come.

The Broadway is also another inevitable stop on the trip to New York. Our  car service chauffer was quite alive to our tastes and took us around many of these places. The Statue of Liberty, which represents the quintessential essence of both America and New York was also a very attractive place to visit and I liked it very much.

Another destination in NYC that the New York ground transportation vehicle took us to was the 840 acres Central Park. Though superficially one might feel contrasting the green environment here to the virtual concrete jungle out in the city’s other parts, you will be very impressed with the way the place has been created and preserved over the years. I could not leave the Central Park out of the list of places or things I liked in New York.

And special mention must be made of the New York ground transportation that helps you get around the city in comfort and safety.
